Description

This 8mm plywood sheet is a lightweight, versatile engineered wood panel suitable for general construction and interior applications where a thinner board is needed. Made by bonding cross-layered wood veneers under heat and pressure, it offers good strength-to-weight ratio and resists warping better than solid wood of similar thickness.

Key features:

• Thickness: 8mm | Standard size: 8 ft x 4 ft (32 sq ft per sheet)

• Grade: Commercial/MR (Moisture Resistant) — suitable for dry to moderately humid interior conditions

• Cross-laminated veneer construction for balanced strength and reduced warping

• Smooth surface — ready for laminate, veneer, or paint finish

• Lightweight — easier to handle and install than thicker boards

Ideal for: false ceiling backing, partition panels, cabinet backs and shelving, door panel inserts, packing crates, and other applications where a thin, cost-effective board is sufficient. Not recommended for load-bearing furniture or areas with constant water exposure — use BWR or marine-grade plywood for those.
